I concerned myself very intensively in the past years with our family name. My special attention was on my own line, which proceeds from Joachim Staudinger and his brother Hans Staudinger around the year 1520 in Marburg. This line I will present in detail.
On the basis of the family tree provided in the year 1885 I has enlarged the family tree by correspondence with the family. Also the Marburger kinship book available in the Marburger public records helped me to find additional information. Also the further search in archives helped me to find more informations about the surname Staudinger.
My goal was to determine a common origin of all those with the surname Staudinger. That unfortunately did not succeed to me until today. But I tried to find out as much as possible about the many other lines of the surname Staudinger. So I am able to provide more information about our family name.
This Informations include details about the noble family Staudinger/von Stauding, which lived in Bavaria and was active at important positions there. This line became extinct in the middle of the 17th century. Within this Studies I found many details about the surnames von Reising and Hund von Lauterbach.
Naturally I find out more informations over other families, which have a close relationship with the family Staudinger. These Families are Marc aus Arolsen, Eigenbrodt, Nöldechen and Ribbeck, which are settled in the closest family circle.

In the year 2001 we decided to make the information of the family research available for the public and I organized this web page. This covers all technical questions around the web page production and the actualization.
All web pages of the family tree Staudinger are generated from a GEDCOM file with an self developed tool. After I had sighted and evaluated the available Tools I decided to do so. If I am able to spend more time in developing further enhancements for this tool I will present a graphical representation of the family tree Staudinger.
